Techmanity 2014 Shows Us How Technology and Humanity Can be Powerful Allies

Presented by some of the most well known faces of the tech world, Techmanity 2014 launched its first edition at Silicon Valley on the first week of October.

Techmanity was not intended to be the conventional tech conference. Instead it focused on the intersection of technology and humanity. It was a summit for innovators and tech entrepreneurs where they could share ideas on how to improve lives while creating economic, social and political change.

During our tour, we found plenty of the usual networking and sessions you can find at every tech event, from semiconductors to software, but we also found a strong emphasis on sustainability, human-focused engineering and social entrepreneurship. In a few words, an evolution focused on design for better. Needless to say, we felt right at home.
