Can pavers be installed on a driveway?
Yes, we follow the ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute) installation guidelines in order to
sustain vehicle traffic.
Can pavers be installed on sloped driveways?
Yes, our installation procedure includes structural elements to help prevent downslope movement.
Can you install pavers on top of a concrete driveway?
It is not recommended to install pavers on top of concrete. Interlocking pavers are designed to be
installed over gravel and sand base, which gives the system some flexibility when there is movement
in the natural earth.
What are the advantages of driveway pavers?
Compared to concrete and asphalt, pavers offer more when it comes to strength,
durability, and design options. Pavers have a minimum of 8,000 PSI whereas
concrete and asphalt have a 3,000-4,000 PSI. Pavers, unlike concrete or asphalt, have the
flexibility to move along with the natural earth which helps prevent cracking in the system. With a
variety of styles, colors, and textures, pavers offer a vast amount of design options.
